Kathryn’s confirmed as UK’s first kidswear retailer to offer Klarna in-store
Independent boutique, Kathryn’s, is the first UK childrenswear store to offer Klarna’s ‘Slice it in 3’ payment option in-store. Via Slice it, Kathryn’s can provide flexible consumer finance at the point of sale and in turn, improve sales.
Today’s customers are used to easy online payments and want the same control and flexibility in-store as they get online. Through Klarna, Kathryn’s customers can slice a purchase amount into three equal payments. They then walk away with the goods and spread the cost over three months.
Consumers complete their purchase on their own smartphone.
Shoppers buy their products in-store, but can then pay later at their convenience. To start the process, the customer receives an SMS notification with a link to complete their purchase with Klarna, where it does the rest.
Klarna is now one of Europe’s largest banks and provides payment solutions for 60 million consumers across 130,000 merchants in 14 countries.
Klarna offers direct payments, pay after delivery options and instalment plans in a smooth, one-click purchase experience; allowing consumers to pay when and how they prefer to.
