Kathryns Nominated in the North West Family Business Awards 2022

It has just been announced that Kathryns is a finalist for the Peoples Award category of the North West Family Business Awards 2022.

Kathryns beat strong competition with a record number of 186 businesses entering the awards from across the North West region.

This event will be held at The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool with host, food writer, and presenter Nigel Barden, and will take place on Friday 13th May 2022.

It has been a challenging few years for all retailers, so positive news like this is brilliant to receive. We would like to thank the judges for shortlisting us and wish everyone else in our category the best of luck. We cant wait to meet everyone at the party!”

Businesses from all over the North West have been nominated for awards, from Mersyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire & Cumbria. The awards aim to celebrate businesses from a range of sizes, sectors and industries.

Co-Founder and Director of The Family Business Community, Sue Howorth, said: “We were inundated with some incredible entries and we have been burning the midnight oil to get through them as they came in right up to the wire. The judges had extremely difficult decisions to make so the finalists should be extremely proud of themselves! 

Jacqui Jackson from Thomas Jardine & Co and 2022 North West Awards Chair of Judges said: “The number and quality of applications from across the North West have been outstanding, the businesses are clearly proud to be family businesses and the detail in many of the entries has demonstrated that they are very progressive and innovative.
